Pacolet Area Conservancy Nature Hike

Pam from Pacolet Area Conservancy is returning to the Main Library on Tuesday, July 1 at 10am to lead a nature hike on the trails behind the library. She will also present a special nature program after the hike. This event is part of our children’s Summer Reading Program.

The LEGO Movie

Come to the Main Library at on Tuesday, June 24 for a movie matinee as part of our Summer Reading Program! We will watch The LEGO Movie at 2pm and enjoy popcorn and drinks. As always, it’s FREE!

Wildlife of WNC

Our first Summer Reading Program event is Tuesday, June 17! Chimney Rock Park presents “Wildlife of Western North Carolina” at 3pm in Saluda and 6pm in Columbus. Foothills Humane Society Book Buddies

Foothills Humane Society has a new program called Book Buddies, where kids in grades 1-8 read to shelter cats! This program will help children improve their reading skills while also helping the shelter animals by providing socialization and human interaction.
