Our library provides three primary access points for locating, accessing, and downloading digital content:

The

North Carolina Digital Library / Overdrive

provides access to eBooks, audiobooks, music, and video. Log in with your library card number and PIN, selecting

CMC Library Consortium

as your library from the drop-down menu.

NCDL eBooks may be checked out and downloaded to your computer and/or a compatible eReader, smartphone, or tablet. NCDL audiobooks may be checked out and downloaded to any compatible device.

NC LIVE provides access to eBooks (online viewing only – no check-out or downloading) among its many resources and databases. Log-in to NC LIVE with Polk Co. Public as your library. Please contact us to receive the password.

Freegal is a free service that allows three downloads per week of any title produced on a Sony Music Label.  All you need is your library card number and pin number.  If you do not know or have a pin number, call the Circulation desk at 828-894-8721 ext 221.
