The Polk County Public Library is a participant of the IRS Tax Forms Outlet Program (TFOP). You can visit either the Columbus or Saluda branch for tax forms or download forms from the sites below.

Benefit Bank
The Benefit Bank of North Carolina is an online service designed to secure funds and services for individuals and families working to overcome poverty and to build long-term financial stability.

Internal Revenue Service
Download tax forms and instructions from 1980 to the present.

North Carolina Department of Revenue
Get North Carolina individual tax forms and instructions from 1992 to the present.

North Carolina Taxpayer Service Centers
The North Carolina Department of Revenue has offices throughout the state. The people who staff these offices offer a variety of services ranging from providing North Carolina tax forms to answering questions.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program
The VITA Program offers free tax help to low- to moderate-income (generally, $50,000 and below) people who cannot prepare their own tax returns. Certified volunteers sponsored by various organizations receive training to help prepare basic tax returns.
