Use the library computers

wifiBoth the Columbus and Saluda libraries have free wireless internet, public computer labs, and child-friendly computers.

Because of high demand, in the Columbus adult computer lab each patron is required to log in using her/his library card number and PIN (available from the circulation desk). When you log in, you will be given a 60-minute session. There is a limit of three sessions per day.

computersIf you need more time (for example, to take a training course or complete a test), please ask a staff member in advance and we can extend your session.

Out-of-town visitors and temporary residents may request a “guest pass” that allows them to use the computers.

Printing is available for 20 cents per B&W and 25 cents per color page (Columbus only).

Although staff members are always happy to help, if you require in-depth computing assistance, please consider signing up for one of our free courses or workshops (check availability at the Reference Desk, 828-894-8721 ext.226).
