The Polk County Public Library is for kids! Check back often… This is the place to come for information about children’s programs, new materials, and more. You can also check us out on Facebook! Our Pre-School Storytime and Afternoon Adventures programs will resume in September.
Online registration for our 2014 Summer Reading Program is now open. Click here to sign up. After you’ve registered, pick up your reading log and BINGO card from Jen, Youth Services Librarian (in the Children’s Area) at the Main Library or the front desk of the Saluda Community Library. Every time you read for 20 minutes, fill in your reading log. For each 10 reading log entries, bring your log to the library for a prize!
You can also enter to win one of the grand prizes every time you mark off five in a row on your BINGO card (up to 12 times total). The grand prizes are a Frozen set (DVD and book), $25 Game Stop gift card, arts and crafts set, Minecraft LEGO set, sports set (soccer ball, basketball, and football), and summer fun set (water toys and bubbles). The grand prize drawings will be held at the Wrap-Up Party on August 5th. You do not have to be present to win!
