3D Printing
The Polk County Public Libraries are excited to debut their Makerbot Sketch 3D Printers for public use. Schedule your 3D creation by filling out the 3D Printing Form. A library staff member will be in contact with you to confirm your print, cost, and when you may expect to pick it up at the library.
Costs: Print jobs are measured in size by grams and are calculated by MakerBot printing software. The cost to print is $0.15 per gram of filament.
Payment: Library staff will review the print and email the patron with a total cost for the project before printing. The total should be paid at the library before printing begins (cash or check only).
Please Note: The Library cannot guarantee the integrity of a design, downloaded or created, or that the printed object will meet the imagination or expectation of the designer. If a 3D print fails or does not meet the desired specifications, the user may request a reprint or a 3D printing voucher to be used within 30 days. Refunds cannot be issued.
The library reserves the right to refuse a print for any reason. Submitting this form does not guarantee that your print will be printed.
