Celebrate American history through a timeline of music
COLUMBUS, N. C., (April 7, 2026) Celebrate American history through a timeline of music as Bright Star Theatre presents American Songbook on Tuesday, April 14th at 5:30pm at Columbus Library! From tribal songs of the early Native Americans to influential anthems of the civil rights movement, audience interaction abounds with singalongs in this original concert. This program is designed for ages 4-10, but all ages are welcome to attend.
Bright Star Theatre is a national touring theatre company based in North Carolina. Their mission is to challenge, engage, and delight audiences all over the world. Bright Star is committed to the vitality of the live theatre industry, and, every year, provides dozens of actors the opportunity to hone their craft and tour in a professional work environment. Many of their actors have continued on to careers in theatre, film, entertainment, and education.
