Local artist Lori Loftus displays works at Saluda Library

SALUDA, N. C., (August 14, 2026) Local artist Lori Loftus is displaying her nature printing creations at Saluda Library from August 17th through October 3rd. Come to a special reception on Friday, August 21st from 2-4pm to enjoy light refreshments while Lori demos some of her nature printing techniques.

Nature printing has been Lori’s artistic passion since joining the International Nature Printing Society in 2006. She uses flora, fauna, and other objects to create one-of-a-kind works of art. The various techniques incorporate fish, ferns, flowers, seaweed, leaves, and other objects in nature. This show is a collection of various types of mediums and substrates: acrylic paints, sumi ink, water-based inks, wood cuts, gyotaku, printed fish and octopus, pen and ink, markers, acrylic, encaustic, eco-dyed silk, and more.
