Linda Seagroves Artist Reception

Join Linda Seagroves for a special reception at the Saluda Library. Enjoy light refreshments while viewing and listening to hrt discuss her displayed artwork. Linda is a local painter and artist known for her one-of-a-kind, glass-on-glass mosaic creations. Using scrap pieces of stained glass generously shared by fellow glass artists, she transforms discarded materials into vibrant, intricate works of art. Each piece is carefully crafted on recycled picture frames she sources from local thrift shops, giving new life to both the glass and its foundation.

Join us for a presentation about birds of western North Carolina! Topics will include the value of birds, food requirements, the importance of native plants, migration, bird identification tips, and interesting facts about some of our local birds, including pictures and songs of many birds found in our region.

Presenter Tom Tribble served six years as President and is now an At-Large Director of Blue Ridge Audubon Chapter. Tom has been an Audubon member and avid birder for more than 45 years.

This program, led by Partnership for Children of the Foothills, is for parents of children from birth to five years old. Come share the challenges and successes of parenting with other parents just like you, while gaining and sharing useful information and tips on how to strengthen your family. Experienced child care teachers provide on-site age appropriate activities, supervision, and fun (including the weekly library storytime when in session) for children up to five years of age, while parents and guardians are busy in group discussion and activities.
