Rising Readers is our preschool storytime program filled with stories, songs, crafts, and more. Each week features a unique theme. This program is designed for youth ages 2-5 and supports early literacy development.

Nov 17 Theme: Thanksgiving

This is a very special event! Marilyn Edwards from the NC Division of Services for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing will interpret the stories in American Sign Language.

Nov 17: Toilet Paper Olympics for grades 3-5
This week we're going to host our own Olympics, measuring our feats using toilet paper. We'll do the long jump, the shot put, and finally a relay race with toilet paper unfurling off a paint roller. At the end, we'll mummify the winner and count up the squares!

Fun for teens in grades 6-12!
