An inaugural Friends of the Library summer Book Sale in Saluda will be held the last weekend in July at Saluda Fire & Rescue. The sale will take place from 4-7 pm on Friday, July 28 and 9am-3pm on Saturday, July 29. Select books will be given away from 1-3pm Saturday.

Join us on the last Saturday of the month at dusk (approx. 8:30pm) this summer for Movies in the Park! These programs are made possible by a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation. Bring chairs or a blanket, snacks and drinks, and your family and friends! Come early to find a good spot.

June 24: The Princess Bride – Come early for trivia about real-life royalty!
July 29: The Sound of Music – Sing along with Maria during the movie!
August 26: The Wizard of Oz – Come dressed up as your favorite character and enter the costume contest!
