Family Fun Storytime 10/29/2019 , 10:30 AM at PCPL Columbus Children ages 0-5 will listen to stories, sing songs, and get hands-on with art projects.
ecoEXPLORE Intro to Entomology 10/29/2019 , 4:00 PM at PCPL Columbus Scientists need your help! Kids in grades K-8 can become ecoEXPLORERs and share wildlife observations to earn points, badges, and prizes. Learn more here! Columbus Library is both a HotSpot (special area for ecoEXPLORERS to make observations of plants and animals – earn an extra point when you take a photo here) and a GetSpot (place where participants can cash in their points in exchange for prizes). The next quarterly program will be at Columbus Library on Tuesday, October 29 at 4pm. Join us for an Introduction to Entomology… Meet live insects and go outside to find some bugs in the wild!
Saluda Ghost Walks 10/29/2019 , 5:30 PM at PCPL Saluda There will be two walks this year: one at 5:30pm and one at 7pm. The first walk will be less scary and appropriate for younger audience members. Enjoy frightening tales told by George Lunsford, author of Legends, Myths, Monsters, and Ghosts, and Saluda local Scott Kinard. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a flashlight. The route is approximately one mile in length.
