Nov 13: Movie Matinee Watch The Hunger Games (rated PG-13) and enjoy popcorn and drinks. Nov 20: Games & Snacks Play on the Nintendo Wii U and make apple butter. Nov 27: No program Enjoy your Thanksgiving break!
More In My Basket 11/13/2019 , 6:30 PM at PCPL Columbus Mayra Rangel, Outreach Bilingual Facilitator with the Department of Agriculture and Human Sciences, will present More In My Basket, a program developed at North Carolina State University/Cooperative Extension that helps reduce hunger by connecting North Carolina residents to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). More In My Basket provides SNAP outreach in North Carolina through education about program eligibility, program benefits, and resources to stretch limited resources. Individual assistance is provided to help people apply for SNAP. The goal of this program is to increase SNAP participation through education and minimizing barriers to participation.
