Meet special winged ambassadors and hear about what makes them unique among our native species. February 25: Marvelous Mammals – Join a park naturalist and animal ambassadors to learn all about the Appalachian Mountains’ many mammals. Discover all their special characteristics and what makes them thrive in Western North Carolina. March 25: Nocturnal Animals – Get to know our native nocturnal species and what makes them all so very unique. Meet a couple special animal ambassadors and see the incredible characteristics of these creatures.
