Community Creations: Woven Placemats 04/01/2025 , 12:00 AM Community Creations Each quarter, PCPL offers free kits with supplies to complete a community art project, or a craft that benefits a local organization! April 2025: Woven Placemat Make a woven placemat out of paper strips! Return the completed placemats to the library, where they will be donated to Polk County’s Meals on Wheels program.

Yogi Bears: Yoga for Kids 04/01/2025 , 4:30 PM at PCPL Columbus Yogi Bears: Yoga for Kids Join Allie every month for a fun, themed session of kids’ yoga! Through song, mindfulness, and movement, we will stretch our bodies and calm our minds. Please wear comfy clothes to move in – yoga mats will be provided. Recommended for ages 5-9. February 4: Little Dinos – A Jurassic Journey March 4: Zoo Adventure April 1: Little Sprouts – A Garden Flow May 6: Yoga Safari Registration is required for each class, and space is limited.
