Summer Learning Program Begins! 06/09/2025 , 12:00 AM We all know how important it is to continue learning through the summer while school is out! Sign up for the 2025 Summer Learning Program starting June 9th at Columbus Library or Saluda Library. Our learning incentive program runs for 8 weeks, through August 3rd. Kids and teens (birth-rising 12th graders) will receive a packet that contains a brag tag to start your collection, 8 learning goal bookmarks, and a list of learning goal ideas. Each week, set and achieve 2 learning goals and write your goals on the bookmark. Then return your completed bookmark for a new brag tag, a donation to a local charity, and an entry into our grand prize drawings! Adults can pick up a challenge card and complete up to 25 challenges. After you complete five challenges, you will receive a tote bag (while supplies last) and one entry into the grand prize drawings. For every additional five challenges you complete, earn another entry into the grand prize drawings. For more information, contact Jen Pace Dickenson, Youth Services Librarian, at jdickenson@polklibrary.org or (828) 894-8721 x284.
