Join us for books, songs, and a fun craft or activity! The 4th week of the month will be “A Sprinkle of Spanish” storytimes. Storytime is designed for ages 2-5.

Teen Hang Out
Tuesday, July 22, 2-4pm
Columbus Library
Rising 6th-12th graders only!

Spend time with your friends and play video games, board games, or just hang out. We will also celebrate “Christmas in July” with themed crafts, activities, and snacks. Dress for the occasion to win a prize!

Please note that adults other than library staff and presenters are not permitted to stay in the meeting room during teen programs.

Sashiko: Japanese Embroidery

Sashiko is a traditional mending and embroidery technique that combines functionality with striking geometric patterns. Join textile artist Gail Clements as we cover the basics of sashiko, practice creating classic patterns on fabric, and leave with a small project, like a coaster or patch. no prior sewing experience needed.
