Saluda Storytime 04/14/2026 , 10:30 AM at PCPL Saluda Spring 2026 Storytime Session March 31 – May 20 Tuesdays @ 10:30am, Saluda Library Wednesdays @ 10:30am, Columbus Library Join us for books, songs, and a craft or activity! Storytime is designed for ages 2-5. The 4th week of the month are "A Sprinkle of Spanish" storytimes. Partnership for Children of the Foothills also hold their free Circle of Parents program in the Columbus Library meeting room from 9-11am on Wednesdays!
Birds We Love 04/14/2026 , 2:00 PM at PCPL Saluda Birds We Love Tues, April 14 @ 2pm Saluda Library Join us for a presentation about birds of western North Carolina! Topics will include the value of birds, food requirements, the importance of native plants, migration, bird identification tips, and interesting facts about some of our local birds, including pictures and songs of many birds found in our region. Presenter Tom Tribble served six years as President and is now an At-Large Director of Blue Ridge Audubon Chapter. Tom has been an Audubon member and avid birder for more than 45 years. Register for the program here. The Saluda Library Speaker Series is held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 44 West Main Street, Saluda, NC. This program series is made possible thanks to Polk County Public Libraries' partnership with Conserving Carolina. From tribal songs of the early Native Americans, to influential anthems of the civil rights movement, this show leaves few songs unsung. Audience interaction abounds with sing-alongs in this original concert. Designed for ages 4-10, but all ages welcome.
