Caring for Trees on Your Property 08/12/2025 , 2:00 PM at PCPL Saluda Caring for Trees on Your Property This presentation aims to educate property owners on the benefits of trees, while also providing resources to help identify potential risks and health concerns that may increase the likelihood of tree failure or decline. We will explore best practices for tree care, focusing on how these can enhance tree health and reduce risk, as well as how poor tree management can contribute to raising risk and decline. Register for the program here. Jason Llano, Board Certified Master Arborist and the owner of Optimal Arboriculture, will lead this program. Jason holds both Tree Risk Assessment and Prescription Pruning qualifications from the International Society of Arboriculture. Jason is passionate about tree risk mitigation, tree preservation, and empowering property owners with the knowledge of proper tree care practices. The Saluda Library Speaker Series is held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 44 West Main Street, Saluda, NC. This program series is made possible thanks to Polk County Public Libraries’ partnership with Conserving Carolina.
