Drop by the library to pack shoeboxes filled with gifts for needy children around the world. Light refreshments will be served. If you wish to donate items to be added to the shoeboxes, there are boxes set up at Columbus Library and Saluda Library.

Desired items include:
*toys
*stuffed animals
*musical instruments
*sports equipment
*non-liquid hygiene items (toothbrushes, washcloths, combs)
*school supplies
*books
*accessories (shoes, socks, hats sunglasses, jewelry, watches, hair clips)
*flashlights (with extra batteries)

Items NOT to include:
*candy & gum
*toothpaste
*used or damaged items
*war-related toys/items
*food
*liquids or lotions
*medications or vitamins
*breakable items or glass containers
*aerosol cans
