Come check out the new Stearns Park StoryWalk®, installed by Polk County Public Libraries and Polk County Parks & Recreation! The StoryWalk® is a permanent installation and will feature a rotating selection of picture books and local artwork. You can currently read Cat’s Colors by Airlie Anderson.

We invite you to celebrate with us as we kick off the 2021 Summer Learning Program on Saturday, June 19 from 10am-12pm with a StoryWalk® ribbon cutting, balloon twisting by Professor Whizzpop, games, crafts, and more! All activities are free, and the first 100 kids and teens who attend and sign up for the Summer Learning Program will also receive a free shaved ice.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
