Clean out your closet for the clothing swap

COLUMBUS, N. C., (February 18, 2019) – Are your old clothes and accessories not bringing you joy? It’s time to clean out your closet! Come to Columbus Library next week to trade your gently used children’s, men’s, and women’s clothing and accessories for something new-to-you.

Items must be dropped off before the swap. Bring up to 10 items per person and in exchange, you will be given tickets to use at the swap. Bring the items you wish to donate to the children’s area of Columbus Library on Tuesday, February 26 from 9am-1pm; Wednesday, February 27 from 9am-1pm; or Thursday, February 28 from 9am-4pm.

The swap will take place in the meeting room at Columbus Library on Thursday, February 28 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. There you may trade your tickets for items on a first-come, first-served basis. All leftover items after the swap will be donated to charity.

If you have any questions, contact Polk County Public Libraries Program Coordinator Amelia Hill at ahill@polklibrary.org or (828) 894-8721 x283.
