Mice Skating book at the Stearns Park StoryWalk
COLUMBUS, N. C., (February 26, 2025) Check out the latest book at the Stearns Park StoryWalk® in Columbus, Mice Skating, written by Annie Silvestro and illustrated by Teagan White! With intricately detailed illustrations, this funny, punny, warmhearted love song to winter will have kids bundling up for some cold weather fun of their own.
The StoryWalk® begins at the playground and continues counter-clockwise on the path around the park. Mice Skating will be available to read through March 31st. Scan the QR code on the last panel to enter to win a prize pack, which includes a copy of the book, a snow powder science kit, and snow toys!
The Stearns Park StoryWalk® was installed in 2021 as a collaboration between Polk County Public Libraries and Polk County Parks & Recreation. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
Polk County Public Libraries has two libraries, Columbus Library and Saluda Library, with books, movies, music, audiobooks, and downloadable ebooks and audiobooks available for checkout, as well as public computers and wireless internet access.
