Local artist Toni DeCamp Garcia displays works at Saluda Library

SALUDA, N. C., (July 7, 2025) It’s Christmas in July! Local artist Toni DeCamp Garcia is displaying her Christmas quilts at Saluda Library through July 26th. Join her for a special reception on Monday, July 14th from 2-4pm to chat with the artist, view her work, and enjoy light refreshments.

Toni has been coming to Saluda since 1976. She and her husband spend their summers at Lake Sheila where they own a home. She began quilting in the early 1990s and has made hundreds of custom quilts with clients in NYC and France. Her quilts are usually her original design, with no two being exactly alike. She is a member of the Hendersonville Quilts of Valor, has made quilts for veterans, and has displayed at the Asheville Quilt Show. Her Christmas quilts are an easy way to decorate. Just toss one over a chair or the end of a bed and voila – instant decor!
