The Collectors by Alice Feagan at the Stearns Park StoryWalk

COLUMBUS, N. C., (June 17, 2024) Check out the latest book at the Stearns Park StoryWalk® in Columbus, The Collectors by Polk County native Alice Feagan! Nature lovers and collectors of all kinds will love this high-adventure quest story about two brave and clever girls who head into the forest in search of something extraordinary.

The StoryWalk® begins at the playground and continues counter-clockwise on the path around the park. The Collectors will be available to read through July 31, 2024. Scan the QR code on the last panel to enter to win a prize pack, which includes a copy of the book and an outdoor explorer set! The Stearns Park StoryWalk® was installed in 2021 as a collaboration between Polk County Public Libraries and Polk County Parks & Recreation. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

Polk County Public Libraries has two libraries, Columbus Library and Saluda Library, with books, movies, music, audiobooks, and downloadable eBooks and audiobooks available for checkout, as well as public computers and wireless internet access.
