Explore the wonderful world of moss

COLUMBUS, N. C., (March 12, 2019) – Mossin’ Annie, moss garden expert and author of The Magical World of Moss Gardening, will present a free lecture at Columbus Library on Thursday, March 14 at 6pm. The seminar will explain how to use moss to create year-round green appeal in your landscape.

Western North Carolina native and nationally-recognized expert on moss gardening, Annie Martin, aka Mossin’ Annie, infuses her passion for mosses with her knowledge of bryophytes and successful gardening techniques. As owner of Mountain Moss Enterprises in Pisgah Forest, NC, and licensed landscape contractor, she offers consultation services, innovative moss garden designs, and turn-key installations emphasizing the year-round green appeal of eco-friendly mosses resulting in serene retreats that lift your spirit.

A popular garden lecturer and author, Martin shares her expertise through informative yet entertaining programs. She has been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers including The New York Times. She has also appeared on various gardening radio shows. Aspiring DIY moss gardeners can continue to learn more about successful moss gardening methods by subscribing to her “Mossin’ Annie” YouTube channel.
