Learn about birds of WNC at Saluda Library
SALUDA, N. C., (March 23, 2026) Learn about the birds of western North Carolina on Tuesday, April 14th at 2pm at Saluda Library! Topics will include the value of birds, food requirements, the importance of native plants, migration, bird identification tips, and interesting facts about some of our local birds, including pictures and songs of many birds found in our region. Presenter Tom Tribble served six years as President and is now an At-Large Director of Blue Ridge Audubon Chapter. Tom has been an Audubon member and avid birder for more than 45 years.

This program series began in 2024 thanks to a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation, and is now made possible due to the continued partnership between Polk County Public Libraries and Conserving Carolina.
