Brad Schwartz Artwork at Saluda Library

SALUDA, N. C., (May 12, 2022) The current exhibit of artwork at Saluda Library features paintings and prints by Brad Schwartz. Brad practiced architecture in Maine and North Carolina before becoming a full-time resident of Saluda in 2011. His paintings vary in subject and style from abstraction to primitive to adaptive realism.

Included in this exhibit are waterfalls, Asian-inspired themes, shaped canvas animal folk art, architectural sketches, and non-representational prints. The paintings are original acrylics on linen and canvas, and the prints are archival quality paper and ink.

Brad is delighted to have this unique opportunity to share some of his inspiration in Saluda’s lovely, historic library space. If you would like to meet the artist, he will be at Saluda Library from 9am-1pm on Saturday, May 21, the day of the Saluda Arts Festival.

If you are interested in having your art displayed at Saluda Library, please review the Displays & Exhibits Policy at polklibrary.org/policies and contact Saluda Library Manager Bob McCall at 828-894-8721 x294 or bmccall@polklibrary.org.
