Local artist Samantha Bell displays works at Saluda Library
SALUDA, N. C., (October 2, 2026) Local artist Samantha Bell is displaying her acrylic palette knife paintings at Saluda Library from October 7th through November 30th. Come to a special reception on Friday, October 9th from 2-4pm to enjoy light refreshments, chat with the artist, view her work, and try your hand at painting with a palette knife!
Born and raised in central Florida, Samantha has called Tryon home for the past eight years. She knew from an early age that she wanted to be an artist, and art has remained a part of her life ever since. She began teaching art over 30 years ago and has shared her love of art with children and adults through classes and community programs. Samantha enjoys working in a variety of styles and media and creating commissioned artwork, portraits, illustrations, and wildlife paintings. Her acrylic palette knife paintings in this show allow her to explore color, texture, and bold, expressive strokes while capturing the beauty of the natural world.
