Stories of Resilience films to show at Columbus Library

COLUMBUS, N. C., (October 24, 2025) Join Polk County Public Libraries and Conserving Carolina on Tuesday, November 4th at 5:30pm for an inspiring evening of storytelling, resilience, and environmental restoration! This special screening at Columbus Library features a series of short films, produced by PBS NC in the year since Hurricane Helene, that shine a light on our region’s rivers and the communities working to protect them. From disaster response to long-term conservation, these powerful stories highlight what it means to build a safer, more sustainable future.
