Explore the world of bonsai

COLUMBUS, N. C., (September 4, 2024) Join Judith Nourse from the North Carolina Arboretum as she walks us through the world of bonsai on Thursday, Sept 12th at 2pm at Columbus Library.

This Japanese art of growing and shaping miniature trees spans over 1,000 years, and is alive and thriving to this day. Dip your toes into this ancient art form as Judith guides us through the basic history and technique of bonsai, and get up close and personal with some sample bonsai trees.
