Creating Trails & Greenways
Tuesday, July 8 @ 2pm
Saluda Library

Conserving Carolina has permanently protected over 49,000 acres of forest, farmland, wetlands, and other significant landscapes in their service area which includes Polk County. Did you know that they also build trails and work with local communities to plan greenways? Kristin Cozza, Trails and Greenways Manager, will give an overview of Conserving Carolina’s existing trail and greenway projects and provide an update on their ongoing efforts to promote public access to the special places they help to protect, including their role in advancing greenway projects across the region. Register for the program here.

The Saluda Library Speaker Series is held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 44 West Main Street, Saluda, NC. This program series is made possible thanks to Polk County Public Libraries’ partnership with Conserving Carolina. Contact Pam Torlina at pam@conservingcarolina.org with questions or for more information.
