Mary Lou Diekmann of Tryon creates abstract, landscape, and portrait paintings. Portraits include traditional commissioned work of humans and animals as well as “vacation portraits,” capturing people in more natural poses. She also makes multi-media works incorporating stones, metal, fabric, photos, and anything she finds interesting. View her artwork at Saluda Library from June 7th to July 17th, or at this special reception with the artist where light refreshments will be served.
