Reading Trees
Tuesday, Feb 11 @ 2pm
Saluda Library

Join us to learn about trees! Carrie Blair, founder of Tree Lovers School, will discuss ways to help you identify trees by their various characteristics, their habitats, branch patterns, leaves, flowers, seeds, thorns, buds, and leaf scars. She’ll also teach some of the terms you should know when learning about and discussing trees. Carrie has passionately studied the plants of the mid-Atlantic for over four decades. Register for the program here.

Please note that the elevator at Saluda Library is not currently working, so attendees may need to climb one flight of stairs for the program.

The Saluda Library Speaker Series is held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 44 West Main Street, Saluda, NC. This program series is made possible thanks to Polk County Public Libraries’ partnership with Conserving Carolina. Contact Pam Torlina at pam@conservingcarolina.org with questions or for more information.
