November’s Spice: Everything Bagel Seasoning

Recipe: Three Ingredient Bagels

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup plain Greek non-fat yogurt
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 2 tablespoons Everything Bagel seasoning

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment and lightly coat with cooking spray.
  3. Combine yogurt and flour until all the flour is mixed into the yogurt and dough forms a ball.
  4. Lightly flour a cutting board. Knead the dough for about 30 seconds.
  5. Cut the dough into 4 equal parts. If dough is sticky, lightly flour your hands. Roll each dough piece into a ball. Lightly flour your finger, then poke it in the center of the dough ball to create a hole. Gently stretch out the center hole to be about 1” wide and shape the the dough into a bagel shape.
  6. Place bagels on prepared baking sheet far enough apart to give room for them to rise. Allow to rest for about 15 minutes.
  7. Brush egg wash or water over the bagels. Sprinkle seasoning on top of bagels.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
